The History Of Sain Nomun Monastery
The Sain Nomun Monastery was named Ulsiit Nomiin Khurden in 1990 by The Association of Believers of Nalaikh District.
In 1992, when the Monastery expanded, the Elder Lamas chose Ven. Dr. Negrui Sainbuyan to be the Bishop of the Monastery.
The name was changed to Sain Nonum Monastery and was moved to its present location. At this time construction of the new Temple facility began and the teaching of religious studies was offered to preteen children in order to prepare for the new management of the Monastery.
Sain Nomun Monastery consist of four major activities; Religious Customs, Ministry, Secondary Education, and Religious Education. The students also are trained in Philosophy, Humanities, and Creative Arts.
Sain Nomun also offers meditation & yoga to the public.
The education of the Secondary School of Sain Nonum Monastery is in accord with the standards of the Mongolian Public Education System. As well as providing an education that will prepare the students for professional management while promoting traditional religious customs and morals.
